Hello, I am Arno. I am passionate about technology and working with data. I work as a Data Scientist/Data Engineer for a German building society.

My daily work these days centers around building up a data lake and the surrounding infrastructure and data pipelines for my company to support a steadily increasing number of smart data use cases.

Both at work and also for myself I enjoy coding in Python. My current goal is to attain "fluency" in pandas and PySpark as I use both on a daily basis.

I also aspire to learn about Web Development and this page came alive as part of that effort. If the content shared here is of value to others as well, that is a welcome side-affect. :-)
